What the ATS checker actually tests

Parsing rate (40% of score)
Can the ATS extract every section cleanly? Tables, columns, text boxes, image-PDFs, and exotic fonts all cause parsing failures. We test extraction line-by-line and tell you exactly which sections survived.
Section recognition (20% of score)
ATS systems are programmed to look for specific section names — 'Work Experience', 'Education', 'Skills', etc. If you used 'My Journey' instead, the ATS can't tag your experience and you disappear from recruiter searches.
Keyword coverage (25% of score)

How accurate is the ATS score?
We use the same parsing libraries that power real enterprise ATS — not a generic heuristic. When we say your resume scores 72, that's the score a recruiter at Workday-powered companies will see. We've tested against 25,000+ real resumes and validated against actual hiring outcomes.
Does the checker show me how to fix issues?
Yes. Every score comes with a line-by-line breakdown: missing keywords, sections that failed to parse, formatting flags, and exact suggested fixes. The Pro tier (from $19.99/7 days or ₹199/7 days) adds one-click AI rewrites if you want the work done for you.
What's the minimum score I should aim for?
80 is safe for most roles. 85+ is what you need for high-volume employers (TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Accenture) where automated filters are aggressive. Below 70 means you're getting silently rejected — the score is fixable in under 30 minutes once you know what to change.
Can I check the same resume against multiple job descriptions?
Yes — and you should. ATS keyword matching is JD-specific. The same resume might score 88 for a Backend Engineer role and 62 for a Site Reliability role. Run each JD through the checker before you apply.
Is my resume data private?
Yes. Files are processed in-memory, not stored unless you save them to your account, and auto-deleted within 24 hours. We're GDPR and CCPA compliant. We never sell data to recruiters or third parties.

Why are some of my keywords highlighted as missing when I actually have them?
Most often: phrasing mismatch. ATS does literal matching, so 'Kubernetes' and 'K8s' are different keywords. If the JD uses 'Kubernetes' and you wrote 'K8s', the system flags it as missing. Fix: include both spellings in your Skills section.
