Why do I need to tailor my resume for each job?
Because ATS does literal keyword matching, not semantic understanding. If the JD says 'Kubernetes' and your resume says 'container orchestration', the ATS scores you 0/1 on that requirement — even though they mean the same thing. Tailoring is just rewriting your existing experience using the JD's exact phrasing.
How does the AI tailor my resume?
Three steps: (1) Parses the JD to extract every hard skill, soft skill, tool, and qualifier the recruiter listed. (2) Compares against your resume to find gaps. (3) Suggests rewrites that incorporate the missing keywords into your existing experience — without inventing skills you don't have.
Will the AI lie or invent experience I don't have?
No. The tailoring only re-frames experience you already have. If you wrote 'optimized backend' and the JD asks for 'Kubernetes', we'll suggest checking if you used Kubernetes anywhere — but we won't add it if you didn't.
How long does tailoring take?
