How to Make a Resume for Freshers (No Experience)
Writing your first resume is scary. You feel like you have nothing to show. But Indian campus recruiters don't expect "Work Experience"—they look for Potential.
The 5 Essential Sections for Freshers
1Education (Your Strongest Asset)
Since you don't have a job history, your degree is your job.
Hack: If your CGPA is above 7.0 (or 70%), Put it in Bold. If it's low, leave it out.
2Projects (The "Experience" Substitute)
List every project, no matter how small. "Library Management System" (Java) or "Marketing Case Study" (MBA).
Format: Project Name | Tech Stack | What YOU did.
3Skills (Keywords)
Don't write "Soft Skills". Write "Java, C++, SQL" or "Accounting, Tally, Excel".
Rule: Don't rate yourself (e.g., 4/5 stars). Just list them.
4Certifications
Completed a Udemy or NPTEL course? Put it here. It shows you go beyond the syllabus.
5Extra-Curriculars (Leadership)
"Event Organizer for College Fest" tells a recruiter you have leadership and communication skills.
